Post Title: Monitoring and Results Measurement Specialist
Reports to: Team Leader – Food Trade East & Southern Africa
Duty Station: Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania
Requirements
Food Trade East
& Southern Africa (ESA) is a five-year UK Government funded trade
enhancement and promotion program focused on staple foods. The World
Food Programme, through a grant provided by the Food Trade ESA, is
implementing a multi-country project to scale up the use of its Patient
Procurement Platform {PPP}. The PPP project will support government
efforts to build sustainable markets that link smallholder farmers to
local and regional markets.
The project is
seeking a qualified Monitoring and Results Measurement (MRM) Specialist.
The MRM Specialist will work closely with the technical team and other
project stakeholders to manage an intervention MRM plan for the WFP PPP
project, providing quality assessment support and improving all on-going
monitoring measurement activities.
Potential
candidates are required to have a minimum of a university degree in any
relevant field/subject, with. 5+ years' experience managing data
intensive programs and designing MRM systems. Experience in integrating
innovative MRM approaches in agriculture development programmes within
the region is desirable.
